According to the Lifetime schedule, Unsolved Mysteries has been pulled, beginning Monday.
Instead, a movie will air at 1pm (Central) followed by an hour of The Golden Girls at 3. This stinks! |

Yes, it does. We should petition Lifetime into showing 2 episodes back to back and putting UM back on the late night schedule from 11-1 or 12-2 for 6 or 7 nights a week. That would be the logical thing to do because UM is perfectly apt for late night viewing.

I agree, this stinks. I had looked at their UM schedule on their website recently, and they had episodes running into at least next month, so apparently those plans have been scrapped. Also, even though the upcoming episodes section is empty, they still display the show as part of their lineup. I'm wondering if they have plans to bring it back in the future? While this does upset me that it's taken off, if this is truly the end of Lifetime UM, I do have to credit Liftime for airing it as long as they have, somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 years I believe. And some criminals have been put behind bars thanks to the Lifetime airings, so that's definintely a good thing.
I'm wondering if another network might pick it up, maybe with some sort of regular airing pattern. Hope so. If not, it looks like we might be out of luck. CrystalDawn, do you plan to do UM favorites volume 5? I've got some requests, if you do. |

If you go to this url, it says UM is on weekdays at 7 and 8. http://www.lifetimetv.com/shows/unsolved/index.html
Also, on the Yahoo TV schedule http://search.tv.yahoo.com/tvtitlese...core&srch=trueand on the Lifetime schedule http://www.lifetimetv.com/shows/tvsc...sweek_out.html, it is on from 2-3 Tue-Fri. I believe that the 2-3 Tue-Fri sounds correct although they did take away Mon and dwindle it down from 2 back-to-back episodes to 1, so anything's possible. |

**** that! UM should always be on!
I hate the stupid liftime dyke channel. Pathetic, that channel should be cancelled, hell I wouldn't want UM to be on a channel where they show the Will Never Bake Again league (WNBA) UM should be on somewhere, maybe TBS or TNT can pick it up eff you dykes! |

I admire your passion, but don't you think that's a tad insensitive?

Huh. Now I'm thoroughly confused as to when or if it is on. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Well, this thread certainly veered. I just searched and this forum had three references to Dick Van Dyke, but nothing quite like this.
You need to edit, SiberianKiss. I don't think the moderators will be thrilled. Looks like UM is definitely off next week. But we can pick a segment and pretend it aired that particular day, and discuss.

I too noticed a few days ago that it said UM was airing at 7 & 8 pm weeknights. It seemed too good to be true so I figured it was a misprint. Although it stinks if they've pulled it I think its a good sign if they still have it on their list of shows. Its customary for networks to move around things in the Fall and maybe Lifetime will once again see their new programming stinks and put UM back on as they've done before. Yes I think all the dyke comments would best be served at the Dick Van Dyke Show board. |

Hasn't this happened before? This is just Lifetime moving the schedule around to fit all the new programming and movies that will be airing. They've been promoting the hell out of that Fantasia Barrino movie for about 3 months now.
As soon as one (or more) of the new shows start tanking, they'll cancel it and UM will be right back on the air. It's still on Lifetime's list of shows, so don't think it's gone forever. It's an hour long show that hasn't had a new episode in 3 years--no wonder they've removed it--for now. However, don't forget that UM probably pulls in good ratings, because Lifetime actually brought the show back with new segments in 2001. It will be back. Be patient. |

I thought this had happened before maybe two or three years ago. They've kept moving UM around and I never can tell when I'll be able to see it. That's why I've been collecting episodes and they've been great to watch since I never can be home for the viewings.
I'm still mad about the loss of "Any Day Now." |

UM would just add to the already cool line-up. I wonder why UM has never been on A & E? Just a thought.
