I could have told you that! I seen Uptown Saturday Night a million times. Anyway 1. Roscoe Lee Brown-he played that phony Uncle Tom Politician 4. Paula Kelly-Leggy Peggy-she was married to the politcian. She had a memorable scene 5. Silky Slim-Calvin Lockhart 6. Ebe-Geechi Dan's #1 Henchman Also in the movie, Big Percy, Little Seymore's bodyguard was one of Sweet Daddy's henchmen on the show, too. He also was the tall guy on Sanford and Son, in episode, "The Stung" Also, I loved Bill cosby in this movie the best. He was street, and he was funny! It was funny when him and Sidney got whooped by Little Seymore. |

I just remembered one you left out. Sarah, Sidney's wife, played by Rosalind Cash was the older woman who J.J. dated.
Note: Irma, who played Bill's wife, was the woman who fred Sanford wanted to marry who used to date Lamont. |

ive noticed that a LOT of black actors from the 70s appeared in a LOT of shows
ive noticed the same faces in sanford/good times/whats happening/jefferson/etc etc etc as well as movies of the era i guess there were a lot of the same producers/directors and they had people they knew and called on

I've seen that movie a lot of times, I remember seeing Roscoe Lee Brown and Paula Kelly, but the rest I don't remember seeing.

I did not know that. I think that I might have heard something about that. It does take me by surprise.
