Default I don't think Trixie cared too much for Ralph

Not the way Alice liked and respected Norton. The few times she was on here, she hardly conversed with Ralph, and when she did, she insulted him. I remember a few times when some of Ralph's schemes backfired, she went on the personal attack and insulted him in front of Alice, causing Alice to defend Ralph. Plus, both of them seemed distant towards each other, anyway. So, I just think Trixie didn't like Ralph.

Also whenTrixie would be downstairs as soon as Ralph walked in she would say she has to leave.

I agree, and it seemed like Ralph was only nice to Trixie when something good was happening to him (he thought he was getting a promotion, etc.) It was also very rare to catch Ralph and Trixie on stage together alone. With the exception of the "Love Letter" episodes, I can't recall off the top of my head another episode in which they shared a moment on stage alone.

In "Head of the House" (the Episode in which Ralph answers the 'Roving Reporter's' question about who is in charge in Ralph's household, Norton barges into the Kramden's apartment with the newspaper that evening, and Ralph (who didn't bring a paper home because he didn't want Alice to see his quote) throws Norton out...

A couple of minutes later, Trixie storms into the Kramden's apartment and immediately starts yelling at Ralph... (I'm not sure, but doesn't she say something like 'What did you say to my puddin' ?)... anyway, Ralph tries to calm her down and starts explaining that he was wrong to do that... and Trixie is still really steamed, and says angrily "What do you throw him out of here for?"...

That's as mad as I've ever seen Trixie get. And that's the only time I can think of when she rushed right down to yell at Ralph for throwing Ed out... but he threw Ed out of the apartment in almost every episode!

You guys are right, but I do remember one moment when Trixie was actually nice to Ralph. It was the episode when Ralph thought that he was up for Racoon of the Year at the lodge and he was practicing his speech. Trixie congratulated him and did offer to leave when he yelled at her for interrupting his speech writing.
