The freezer was air tight, therefore sound proof, so they couldn't have heard them anyway.

They were just going through the motions when that episode aired. Everyone knew the show was ending. I did like it though because it gave Jack and Furley a chance to bond.

Jack stated to Mr. Furley immediately after they were locked in the freezer that there would be no use in yelling or banging on the door since it was solid steel and airtight, no one would hear them.

Wasn't that the same freezer that Angelino and Felipe got locked in when Jack was pretending to be David Miller? If it was then Jack and the girls heard them when they were banging on the door.

No, it couldn't have been the same freezer because they had remodeled the place. Plus, if you notice, when Felipe and Angelino were locked in the freezer, it was facing the camera, but when Jack and Furley are locked in, it's facing the doorway.
