can someone please explain this to me <3 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

heyyy, ok I have a question. Towards the end of the series, during Roseanne's on-show pregnancy, the baby was said to be a girl. But then later in the pregnancy or after the baby was born, it magically became a boy, Jerry, even though they had been saying it was a girl for more than a few episodes.

Did I miss something here, lol, can someone please explain to me why it's like that. Thanks. <3. xoxo.

Yeah, good call. I don't recall ever seeing an episode where they explain that or have any conversation about "oh, the doctor was wrong" or anything, but I could be forgetting something.

It was going to be a girl,
but then Roseanne wanted it to be more like her real life
so she changed it last minute!

i dont even remember seeing the baby in last season like it just disappeard am i missing something or did they do it like it never happend

I remember the baby going with them to Disney World, dan taking the baby after they broke up, and showing up every now and again, but just liek Jackie's son Andy, the babies kinda never were in any epsiodes, there was so much happeing with Dan and Roseanne that I think the plot line of raising a baby just became out of focus. They decided to work with the most familiar characters, i think anyways. xoxo.
