Has anybody else noticed how Peter's nose is black and blue in the Buddy Hinton episode??? It's clearly bruised up in many scenes prior to the Fight with Buddy Hinton, and even before Pete tries to "reason with him"
My guess is the scenes with Peter and Greg sparring, were shot before the Buddy Hinton stuff, and Greg [Barry]must have clocked him in the nose by accident.... and is it a bit odd, that Buddy Hinton's Mom had a speech impediment of some kind as well??? "What ever Ralph says is bethst" calm cool reasoning.....oh SHUT UP!!! haha

*sigh* it's been a awhile since I was on this leg of the series. Just remembering it reminds me how much I like the earlier eps
As far as Peter, I'll bet the scene specific make-up was still on him and the scenes possibly were shot out of order.

I always thought Buddy Hinton looked like an older version of the "Whitey" character from Leave It To Beaver.

" A Fistful of Reasons" is a great episode: I didn't really care for the end however where Peter stood up for Buddy after Peter decks him. After all, Buddy DID make trouble for BOTH Peter and Cindy and gave Peter a black eye, Why Peter was mad at the kids for laughing at Buddy when Peter knocks his tooth loose, and Peter saying "It's not funny, go on get outta here" was a bit too "nice." Have the kids laugh, Buddy runs away, and Peter says to Cindy, "come on, let's go home." would have been a better way to deal with this scene.
What do you think about the tag scene where Buddy comes to the house to borrow Cindy's toungue twister book? Not too sure about that myself. They all seemed to be friends a little too quickly in the end. The dialogue between Mike and Carol trying to talk to Buddy's parents is hysterical!!!!! Jack |

While "A Fistful of Reasons" was a great episode, why did they have it written into the script in "Tell It Like It Is" (Carol writes an article for Tomorrow's Woman) that Peter was in another fight with Buddy? I thought "AFOR" signaled the end of their status as enemies.
It's no wonder "Tell It Like It Is" is one of my least favorite episodes.
