I was wondering if anyone could help me identify two cases. One was definitely on UM the second one I'm not so sure. I'm sorry I'm so vague with my memories.
1. This case was about a young woman about 19-24. She had a baby son. Someone got a coworker to ask her out on a date to dinner and bring her baby along. It was all a setup and she was forced to write letters to her family before she was murdered. The letters were being mailed to her family, then her dead body was discovered. Her baby is still missing. There was also more to this case. A couple of guys were involved and the ringleader was cashing someone else's Social Security checks. 2. I'm not sure if this case was on UM but it's been driving me crazy trying to identify it. A woman is accused of killing her daughter. She says she's innocent and a cop did it. The cop was stalking her and her daughter. I think the cop gave the daughter a stuffed animal the day before she was murdered. The cop either was kicked off of or resigned from the force because he shot himself in the chest with a bullet proof vest on saying a criminal shot him to impress his girlfriend. I'm pretty sure the mother was convicted of murder. The daughter was found on the side of a road and her arm (I think it was) was run over. The mother says she took her daughter to the grocery store and the cop abducted her from there. There was a witness who said he did see a little girl in purple pajamas at the store. The police say the girl was never there and the man is mistaken. I'm sorry for rambling on. I'm just typing my memories as they appear. Sorry If I don't make sense. If anyone could help me identify these cases and tell me of any outcomes or updates, I'd be grateful. |

The first one is the case of Marvin Gabrion who raped and later killed Rachel Timmerman because he was due to go to court for her rape. He kidnapped her and her baby using a mutual acquaintance as bait for a "date". He then had her write letters to her family explaining that she took off or something to that effect. He then wrapped her up in chains and a duffel bag of some sort and threw her in the water alive. What a horrific way to go. Then he took her baby and I believe he killed it and the witnesses to the rape case and Gabrion's acquaintances. Then he fled and was leeching off of someone's SSI checks and was caught, fortunately. This is one of the saddest cases that I can think of. (I may have been wrong on some of the exact details, I'm sure someone else can give you more info on the case.)
The second case doesn't sound too familiar to me, but I'm sure that if it was on UM, someone here knows about it. |
