Default TJL On MYSPACE!

Hey kids, TJL here.

In yet another attempt to annoy people on the internet, I now have a myspace page. Actually, the page will be about my favorite local watering hole The Gaf, but I'm in charge of the content.

The problem is I know absolutly nothing about Myspace. I have seen a number of pages that look really good, so if anyone has any suggestions on customizing myspace please post.

With MySpace, I follow the "keep it simple" motto, to ensure that the page is easy to navigate and that the text is easy to read. Sure, there's a bit of HTML fudging on my page, as well as a song, but I don't go overboard with a whole lot of flash.

That's my advice. Don't let a whole lot of bells-and-whistles get in the way.

a good site for making your own layout is this one. I use it when i can't find a good pre made one. I like to use tiny layouts. they look nicer and you can fit more things on yer page. the code for that is here

may want to take it off the "private" setting...

oh, and I don't know what the drinkin' age is in NYC, but it says 15 years old on there

as for layout/design, keep it clean, simple and easy to read (who knows how sober your readers will be)

yeah, still working the bugs out. I have no idea whey the profile says 15. The Gaf is only 7 years old.

You might want to use your own age instead of that of the bar. If MySpace thinks a user is under 16, it automatically sets their profile to private.

Okay, I think I got some of the kinks worked out. Hopefully you can see the profile stuff that might have been blocked before.

If you guys have any comments and or advice, let me know.

If you still can't see any profile stuff, let me know so i can curse some more.

So I shouldn't have given that guy my social security number and credit card information?

Yeah. I was only kidding when I asked you for it. I was surprised you gave it to me.

In any event, thanks for the new LA-Z-BOY massage chair. It should arrive sometime tomorrow.
