Gamble - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

How many people here gamble? I do but not alot I havent done it since Dec of last year. I do buy lottery tickets once in awhile and powerballs but not additicated to it though.

Once in a while I will buy a Powerball ticket. Sometimes I join in the "lottery pool" that some of my co-workers like to gather. Other than that, I really am not a gambler.

As far as casinos go, I don't like to participate. My mom likes to look around the casinos and watch people and even puts in some change in some slot machines. Since she doesn't drive, she asks if I can drive her there. All but one of the casinos are located on Native American reservations, so they are located on the highways. If I take my mom there, I usually just eat at the food buffets while she spends some time there.

Mmmm....food...

I remember when my parents took me to a casino on my 18th birthday because it was at the time when they were temporarily allowing as young as 18-year-olds to gamble!

It was kinda weird, but it was okay. It wasn't my cup of tea.

Gambling just never called my attention.

I once won $400.00 but that was quit a few years ago though. My very first time I won $200.00. There have been sometimes where I didnt come back with anything thats the disapointing part LOL.

Only with other people's money. Like, if someone gave me a dollar and told me to throw it away in a slot machine, I would. Other than that gambling is boring, and I'm too obsessive about going broke that I could never seemingly "throw it away" like that. I also suck at card games and find betting too confusing.

I've played poker a few times with friends. Once I'm 21 I'm gonna hit up all the casinos, watch out for me.
