Does anyone remember the name of a stand up comedian that was frequently on Ed Sullivan; He was very low key, dry humor. Part of his routine was that he had a clicker and he would pretend to describe a slide show. This guy would never smile but would make me die laughing.

...I believe you're thinking of Jackie Vernon. Most people only know his voice-over work as the title character of 1969's "FROSTY THE SNOWMAN".
