Default Ann slaps Julie

I'm sorry, but did anybody find it funny when Ann slapped Julie across the face for kissing the older vet guy?? Ann really was bustin' a vein over seeing that.

OMG, I thought that Ann never hit or slapped the girls. Ann needs a chill pill or anger management or something.

Ann needed one of those t-shirts that said something like "I go from nice to bitch in 0.0.1 seconds."

Well, they had him buy a bar, thus the show turned into Archie Bunker's Place.

Or like Edith slappy Gloria when she said, YOU'RE NOT MY MOTHER! Then slap right across the face. When Gloria tried talking Edith into identifying her attacker.

Or when Louise slapped Lionel.

Julie had it coming. She was in Ann's face. She should have given Julie a beat down a long time ago

Yea, the infamous scene where Ann slaps Julie. I don't like it. But Norman Lear shows are notorious for this type of shock value, his sitcoms generally play out more like comedy/dramas. When I watch One Day At A Time, Ann is always upset with her girls about something, it's often about the boys they are dating and Ann doesn't like them for one reason or another. On top of that, Ann has man problems of her own. It's too much drama for me. It gets me to thinking that these women would be better off keeping to themselves and minding their own business. Getting involved with men only leads them into trouble.

Which is where I am in life right now. The woman I was with until recently jilted me and left to be with another man, so I'm currently not in a relationship. I'll admit it's lonesome at times, but I'm starting to think I'm better off that way and choosing to focus on the positive side of things. I'm now a free and independent man, my time is my own, I can do what I want. And most important of all, I have peace of mind and don't have to concern myself that my woman is cheating on me with another man behind my back whenever I'm not around. There are so many phony people in this world who will pretend to be your friend, and then abandon you. It will be a long time, if ever, before I trust another woman. Someone very special would have to come along, and I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to happen. I'm living the single life, and enjoying it!
