Arrow I'm just curious...

Does anyone here take karate or any form of martial arts? If you do, what kind do you take and what belt rank are you?

I'm a black belt white stripe (one belt away from black) in Sikaron Karate.

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are going to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon and Jay Harrington, and you're not. Ahahaha!

Jinny: Oh, come on, folks, please, don't be shy. Apparently anyone is welcome to crap all over me tonight, so please, step right on up!

Notice: If you copy me, I will be forced to send you to the outermost reigons of the pig where you will suffer miserably, for I am Jinny: Queen o' the Pigs and Penguins!

I don't. But my best friend takes tae kwon doe. I think she's either a brown belt with a red stripe or a red belt. I know she's really close to her black belt.

"I do like the show.... It's fun to do. I like the character of Charity because she's so hopeful. She's never bitter. There's plenty of things that happen to her that could make her bitter. But she always thinks tomorrow's going to be beautiful. And someday it will be."
- Gwen Verdon

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

I used to. But I was to young to appreciate it. So I quite. I can't take that road again.

But I do want to take Judo. I'd like to be able to flip someone.

I really want to do Karate when I'm older, so no I don't take any martial arts (yet hehehe). My best friend does Jujitsu though, and she flipped me during lunch once...but that's a different story!

Thumbs up

I study Aikido. It is a Japanese martial art of defense. while it does not have all the punches and kicks of Karate, it takes holds and throws to a much deeper level. I have seen many karate black belts get womped by a lower level aikido student. It is a very graceful art. And you get hurt a whole lot less!
