Did anybody here about this short lived sitcom that Esther Rolle did in 1990? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It was called Singer and Sons from 1990 on NBC. Esther played a woman who ran a Jewish deli. I never heard of it until today. Now I want to see it. lol

Good luck finding it, it says that only 4 episodes were produced making it really rare.

I remember that show. I may have seen it once. yeah, that was the plot, but I think on that show also Esther Rolle's character had some sons that hung around that deli.

I am suprised you didn't know this one. I have been looking for a few months and have come up empty. I think I might have a commercial for it on a tape somewhere but that is it.

i remember watching it once or twice and while it was nice to have esther back on tv the show was not very good imho
