Hi, does anyone remember the episode where Wally says someone has "gone ape" to his mother and she shouts, "Wally!" at him? LOL. I remember the scene, but can't remember the episode that it was in...Many thanks!

Yeah, I'm going crazy trying to figure out what episode it was. ;) Wally used "gone ape" lots of times, but I can't remember the one where June got mad at him. Hmm, maybe I'll go watch some of my tapes--since you think it was one of the later ones (that's what I thought, too) I'll start with those. :)

Another episode question!
What is the episode where Mrs. Mondello calls the Cleaver house and says to Ward: "Oh Mr. Cleaver, I'm so sorry to bother you like this, but Larry's run away again, I sent him up to his room to punish him and than when I went up to tell him he could come out of his room he was gone!!!!" Than after hanging up the phone, June (who has to evesdrop on EVERYTHING that goes on) asks: Ward, what was that all about? Ward says, "Oh Mrs Mondello just called and Larry's run away again." June: "Oh! well don't you think we should do something? Ward (great line) "Oh I wouldn't worry too much about it dear. Remember the last time Larry ran away? She had the police out looking for him? Turned out he was home asleep in the closet!!!!!" Sidenote: Sounds like something June would do if Beaver was a half hour late! Certainly would be concerned about that, especially at the series end when he was almost 15!!! Mrs. Mondello and June could get together and co-write a "How to be an Over Protective Mother" book! that was the bathtub episode we were talking about before! about how larry made a snide comment about june's cooking...
I agree, they were pretty over protective mothers... yet, june didn't mind leaving beaver at home alone when he was a lot younger. Sometimes i think they just dind't know what to have june say, so they gave her some odd lines... In the episode where Beaver gives that girl Donna Yeager a gold locket, June spent almost the ENTIRE episode trying to figure out what the heck was going on... finally at the end Wally told her and she was just like ohh.... after she had said to ward as he was leaving for the Yeager house... "now don't let Mr. Yeager blame out beaver for his daughter sending the locket. afterall, it's not our fault that she has a crush on our beaver." Ha Ha Ha!! she thinks her kids are sooo innocent, it's so cute! |

Still trying to find the episode.
I'll find it, eventually...I never considered June overprotective, considering how protective my parents are of me...they would never let me walk to school on my own, no matter how close it was, at Beaver or Wally's age. Quote:
(But they probably wouldn't! LOL)
