You should check out how many stupid petitions are at PetitionOnline.com. http://www.PetitionOnline.com/active_petitions.html
This may take a while to load, but it lists every petition. Some don't even make sense, as they are pleas for boycotting. You will get a real laugh out of a lot of these. These are by far the dumbest and a petition will do nothing for them. http://www.PetitionOnline.com/Fakes/petition.html http://www.PetitionOnline.com/lznal/petition.html http://www.PetitionOnline.com/klumsex/petition.html (this one is pretty funny) http://www.PetitionOnline.com/simsex/petition.html (last two were started by perverts) http://www.PetitionOnline.com/recgwb/petition.html It's like these people think a web petition which isn't even legally binding will make things all better. You should really check these out when you're bored. Kills time! |

The Internet community as a whole does not seem to understand the purpose of petitions. More often than not, I see petitions for crap like "sign this petition so we can make George Lucas change the name of Episode 2". As if these sort of things are a democracy.
