Default Mr. Furley proved in the episode "Double Date" that he was a certified WEIRDO

First he comes upstairs complaining to the girls that he was LONELY and he wanted a woman in his life. So the girls suggested that he go out with Larry and Jack to the Beagle to meet someone. So Furley meets a nice looking woman who was in his age bracket and they hit it off and she even goes back to his place but Furley was too STUPID to take advantage of the opportunity. The Woman tells Furley to KISS Her and he gets all shy and is scared to sit next to her in his own APT. Then to top it all off, he helps her get back with some guy who she wasn't even thinking about until Furley started acting so SCARED of her. And then after he gets the woman back together with her husband, Furley comes upstairs and RUNS into apt 201 with a big ass smile on his face because he played the role of MATCHMAKER. What the hell was FURLEY smoking in that ep?-LOL He defined the termed WEIRD in that ep for sure. Just can't figure out why he didn't JUMP At the chance of hooking up with that nice looking woman.

It was just so strange how HAPPY he was to hook a woman up with another man-lol Even though Furley was an Apt manager, i still think he was a bigger loser than Al Bundy. The Man was just pathetic

WTF???? LMAO...sounds like you like Mr. Roper better, am I right????

Mr. Furley did these physical movements (antics) that were great. When he was yelling or shouting, his whole body moved and his face would be contorted. He was kid-like in his mannerisms at times. He made me laugh way more than Mr. Roper. Mr. Roper was too stiff. Furley was crazy. I love the way his overall physical comedy went well with the funny stuff he said.

One line of his that gets me laughing real hard every time is when Chrissy is trying to sell cosmetics for a living and when Mr. Furley buys all of it, Jack tells Furley, "You've ruined that girl!" and then Furly yells back in his usual way, "I NEVER TOUCHED THAT GIRL!!!!" He was just a funny man to look at sometimes.

Yes he would have, because he knew Helen would NOT LIKE IT...She would be pissed. He would be trying to get her the hell out. Now, if he was single like Furley, then I know he would have taken advantage and "played games"...LOL

I wouldn't call him a weirdo, he admitted to the lady that he wasn't the ladies man that everyone thought he was. He had heart to advise her of what to do, why is that so wrong? Incidently the lady he was with played Sgt. Carter's girlfriend Bunny in Gomer Pyle.

This is what made him a weirdo

1. Being too scared to sit next to a woman in his own APT at the age of 52

2. Jumping for JOY because he got a woman back with her boyfriend that he just met like he was part of a Matchmaking service

LOL

The aftermath of that was one of my favorite parts of the episode.

Furley:Well I did it!

Terri: Mr.Furley!
