I agree on most of the weaker eps listed, but I also loved the $99,000 Answer.

I agree with "Loudspeaker" and "On Stage," but the rest are classics.

You list it as a weker episode because of that, it is a great episode. My other favorite it Beat the Clock. Anytime he is on a game show it is funny.

Would you consider these TWO eps in the Top 5?

definetly Young at Heart, but Mambo would be further down the list.

What did you think of the Golfer and A Dog's Life.

WORST EPISODE of ALL

"Better Living Through TV"
We're the complete opposites. My list is your's switched. The ones you have listed as the weakest are most of my favorites. To each his own, I guess. "The Loudspeaker" was one of the first episodes I had ever seen. I cracked up when Norton poured out some rock candy on the floor to cure Ralph's "hicoughs". Then Ralph walks in and falls to the floor. Jackie Gleason doing the hiccups was hilarious.

"A Man's Pride" is an episode I didn't like originally. I still don't like it as a last episode. But when I watched it recently, I thought it was great. There was a line that was so silly, where Norton says to Ralph, "Now remember. You're not a bus driver. So don't give yourself away by saying 'Step to the rear of the office'." And of course Ralph's reactions when the boss came in and caught him.

On your Best list, I've always loved "Bensonhurst Bomber" In fact, that was the very first episode I ever saw. I watched it one night on WGN. The next day I went to some store and found they had all 39 episodes on VHS. I bought it and have been a Honeymooners fan ever since. Ralph punching the guy in the face was funny, because if you notice, he missed the guy's face. But he had to go down anyways.

As for your "Worst Episode of All" - I think the episode is a classic. However, when I watched it earlier today, I admit I didn't like it like I used to. My vote for the worst episode might be "A Woman's Work Is Never Done" or "Alice and the Blonde." But even the worst episodes are still funny.

The maid in A woman's Work is never done was funny as hell.
