Sad My Cousin Passed Away

My sister and I received a phonecall from my cousin, Myrna, that her brother, Rudy (my older cousin), and his wife, Wanda, passed away from a terrible car accident last night.

We don't know much more detail than the fact that their children, two girls (both of theirs) and a boy (her previous son), are in the hospital in critical condition. The girls are between 2-3 years old, and the boy is around 11. What a sad thing for these kids to learn they are orphans.

I attended their wedding in August 4, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada, so this is such a shock...they were one week away from their six-year anniversary!!

This is truly sad. It is also scary. This is the first time I have a cousin pass away on my maternal side of the family. I was shaking with fear, and I felt blank like a ghost earlier. Too much to absorb. Wow...

I am not a funeral person because it's too emotional and too much for me to handle, so I don't know what I am going to do when I am invited.
