Default OK I seen the Norton's Bedroom and Kitchen Area and why was their place so much

better looking than the Kramdens?-lol From the look of the Norton's APT, it looked like they lived in another Neighborhood/Building. I guess Norton made good money working in the sewer-lol

Norton's house was decent looking. I mean Ralph's ice box looks like it was made in the 19th century.

It wasn't really the ghetto, it was lower income, but I get what you are saying. Ralph's food and bowling bill kept them there-lol

I thought the Kramdens lived in the poor section of Brooklyn like how the Evans lived in the poor section of Chicago?

It might just be the time period, there was different factors in the 50's and 70's, but I don't think of there apartment as a ghetto for some reason. I think all of Brooklyn is kind of bad compared to some of the other places in NYC.

I don't think they lived in the ghetto. They really didn't talk about crime much.

Brian the Kramdens lived in the Ghetto-lol Just because they didn't talk about it doesn't mean they were not in the Ghetto.

The Norton's apartment was nicer (and had all those gadgets) because Ed wasn't afraid to buy things on credit. Ralph did not want to finance any 'luxury' items, like an electric stove or a decent refrigerator.

In "TV Or Not TV", it's established that Ed and Ralph make the same money..but when the Nortons need to get a new TV set after their's breaks down, Ed said the store wouldn't give him any more credit because he already has like 18 accounts going already...no, wait, 19, because he bought a water softener last week...

Ralph didn't want to borrow money. Ed and Trixie didn't mind the weekly payments to the department store...

I love it how they play the fancy music as the scene opens in the Norton's bedroom in "The Sleepwalker." I could just imagine what kind of intro music they would've played if it were the Kramden's bedroom.
