Default Why no DVD releases for...

the following spin-off?

SANFORD - the Sanford and Son sets sell extremely well. Why not box up these two seasons for fans??

There are a lot of short lived spinoffs that would make good DVD releases.

Sanford wasn't a spinoff of Sanford and Son, it was a revival series that started in 1980. The Sanford and Son spinoffs were Grady and Sanford Arms

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony did this at some point. If not, I taped them all from when they ran on BET in the early 90s.

They would have to release the S&S spinoffs first-"Grady and Sanford Arms" before releasing Sanford on DVD. Remember Sanford wasn't a spinoff, just a revival series

this makes no logical sense

why would they HAVE to release them first???
makes no sense at all

they didnt wait to finish ALL IN THE FAMILY before they released ARCHIE BUNKERS PLACE ssn 1
and they do NOT have to release anything if they dont want to

FACT--- if they put out GRADY/SANFORD ARMS--- it would flop like crazy---- i doubt they would sell enough to break even

SANFORD would sell decent--- u could put FRED SANFORD and ESTHER on the front and people would but it up

i understand

HOWEVER that is not what u said
u didnt say " I WANT THEM TO RELEASE..."
people were discussing whether or not they WOULD release SANFORD
and u stated they would
HAVE TO RELEASE
the others first
thus implying it was REQUIRED or something

if u just WANT them to, thats a lot different than they HAVE to

why would u release a DUD collection of shows that noone would buy (grady/sanford arms) over a set of shows that people WOULD buy????

they are in the business to make $$$
and there is NO $$ to be made with grady

Not if they put a Photo of Esther and Grady on the front Cover and title it-

"The Sanford and Son Spinoffs"
