Yes, he was. The segment aired in 2002. He has also been profiled on America's Most Wanted, most recently a few months ago.

I only know that it's not available on any of the official DVD releases.

That's the guy that is on the 10 Most Wanted list that killed his whole family, blew up the house, and disappeared, right?

Yeah, he lived in Scottsdale, Arizona and he killed his wife and two children who I believe were ages 12 and 10 at the time. He then blew up the house to cover up the murders and he disappeared. I dont think he has even been seen since he disappeared, his car was discovered a few days after he disappeared in Prescott, Arizona and his dog was alive and with the car but Fisher was gone. This guy is a survivalist, and I bet he is pulling an Eric Rudolph and is still alive and living in the woods. Fisher claimed to be a navy seal, he was in the Navy but he never was a seal. Fisher claimed that he was a doctor saving lives but yet he was a lowly surgical tech. Fisher also claimed to be a born again Christian yet loved images of death and when he would kill an animal while hunting he would smear the animal's blood all over his chest. I think why he killed his wife was she was going to leave him. It was weird though because Fisher was known to frequent strip clubs and that he once said that he referred to his dog as his kid and he thought of his own kids as his wife's kids but not his. He was messed up that is for sure. I bet this guy is either living in the woods somewhere or has probably fled the country.

There is another theory. He could have killed himself deep in the caverns near where his truck and dog were found.
Why would he abandon his dog? It probably could have helped him survive in the wild more efficiently.

I truly believe this guy has started another life somewhere. You know, Robert Fisher no longer exists. He deserves to be put UNDER the jail.

I dont think he is dead either. I dont know what it is about this guy it just doesnt seem like he would do that. Go through all the trouble to kill his own family and then blow up his house only go out to the wilderness and kill himself? I doubt it. That isnt to say for sure it didnt happen it is just doubtful. I agree with sitcomsaretheway, Fisher most likely is alive and well enjoying himself and living a good, carefree life. Would he kill himself if he was about to be caught? Maybe. However I bet I bet as of this moment he is still alive and well somewhere, where that someplace is I have no idea. They seem to think that he is still in the country and they think some of his relatives might be helping him. I am sure that Fisher has changed his apperance though, he is an FBI top 10 most wanted fugitive afterall. A couple of years ago in Canada there was a guy that was called in as a tip because he looked so much like Robert Fisher that he was actually detained by the police. I bet Fisher is still in the United States somewhere and is probably in a warm part of the country obviously the south or in the western United States. Here is the AMW File on him:John Walsh has been after him pretty much since the beginning and has been wanting to take this guy down not just for the murder of his own family but especially the murder of his own children that really gets to Walsh and gets to me too. It is bad enough he did in his wife but his own kids?

Here is his FBI wanted poster:

I'm just glad he didn't kill the dog

I can't handle people doing those things to animals

hope the doggie was given a nice family to be with.

Well knowing that he had the capacity to kill his own wife and two children, I wouldn't put it past him.

Well Robert loved that dog apperantly, I dont think he would kill it and he didnt, he left it alive at the truck where it was found by police, it was hungry but alive. A guy that knew Robert said that Robert often joked saying he loved the dog more than he loved his kids. This guy said Robert often would joke "the kids are Mary's (his wife) and the dog is mine."
