ABC officials state that bringing back Debbie Matenopoulous to the View was not a
permanent thing. Only a summer stint which was a result of 60, 000 more viewers. Debbie was canned 7 years ago and they must have given her a nice lump sum of cash to make that guest appearance. She was the MAIN reason I watched the View in 1998 and part of 1999 and stopped watching when she was let go.
