It wasn't on last Monday either. It seems since they've been promoting their new show "Angela's Eyes" they've been showing that on Monday's during UM's time slot. Hopefully UM will be back on tomorrow though.

Lifetime is probably gradually phasing UM out of its schedule, I hope that isn't the case.

UM is back on tomorrow. I bet they are just trying to promote the new show. I wouldn't think they are phasing out UM just yet, maybe if the show takes off after a season or something it'll show, but for now we're good.
;_; Hopefully. |

Damn Lifetime! First they keep showing those really awful newer episodes, then just when they get back to the old ones, they pull this "Angela's Eyes" crap on Mondays?!? GRRR!

I hope you don't misinterpret me as a homophobe, which I'm not. However, the joke I made demonstrates the state of primetime these days. I mean, there used to be a time when networks cared about the type of programming people wanted to see on television. Even in the 1960s, there were some shows that may not have been suitable for younger viewers, but they were generally less idiotic than (and morally superior to) the type of shows you see today. But these days, more than ever, we have networks that are basically telling us what we want to watch, rather than listening to (or even caring about) what we want. It has gotten to the point where quality programming has become painfully secondary to ratings and profits. It doesn't matter if it's a show about glamorizing perverts. If it gets the network big ratings and big profits, then that makes them happy, even if most of America feels otherwise. If NBC were offered a choice between a revival of UM (which proved to be a great public service show) or a new reality show about men tying their you-know-what into a knot, chances are they would go with the latter. (No wonder why some ridicule NBC as "Nothing But Crap"!)Make no mistake. I am among many people who have praised shows that are intended for older viewers. In fact, I had no problem with shows like Homicide or NYPD Blue being shown at 10 PM on non-cable primetime because they were shown on a time where most children were asleep. But if they were shown at, say, 7 or 8 PM on non-cable primetime, then that would have been another matter. |

Well I hope they arent phasing UM out but it wouldnt surprise me. Up until not too long ago it was on twice a day and now it is once a day and now once a week they dont even air it, and they pretty much air either a tv show or a tv movie in the UM slot every chance they get. I am sorry, but UM is probably the best show on life time and the only reason I watch it although my mother loves those made for tv movies they make. Hopefully UM isnt being phased out!
