A recent survey named the General Lee from the 1970s show the Dukes of Hazzard the most popular TV or movie car. The survey was conducted by Hagerty Insurance, a company which insures collectible automobiles, and based on about 10,000 responses. CNN has an article explaining the findings from the Hagerty survey. Here is a complete list of the Top 10 TV and movie cars.

There was that fantastic car chase with Gene Hackman in The French Connection.
There's the car that Thelma & Louise went over the cliff in. ....or the car that Dennis Weaver drove in the thriller, Duel. I have no idea what kinds of cars these were though. |
