I was doing a search on Selma Diamond and I discovered an eerie fact. The airing of the series finale of "Night Court" occurred on the same day as Selma Diamond passed away. Selma Diamond passed away on May 13, 1985. The series finale occurred May 13, 1992. How is that for an eerie coincidence?

Oh, I didn't think it was a big deal either. I just thought it was interesting and a great little bit of trivia...albiet a little bit of strange trivia. I just thought I'd pass it along.

What's weird is that both of the first female baliffs on the show died while on the show. Both Selma Diamond and Florence Halop died while they were members of the Night Court cast. That's creepy!

and they both died of same disease around exact same time on the same show in the same role u could say selma came back reincarnated as Florence halop for 1 more year of Night court then she died as well creppy ha
