Trying to confirm if it's only 5 eps of the show? Has this been confirmed through TV Guides? I saw that the show started on Oct 29, 1982 and lasted until June 16, 1983 which really makes it hard to believe it only had 5 eps.

I found this so it sounds like there is 13 episodes
The New Odd Couple In the early 1980s, producer Garry Marshall decided to remake the Odd Couple tv show, this time with a primarily African-American cast. The show lasted from October 1982 to June 1983, which may be partly because 8 of the 13 episodes produced were simply remakes of episodes from the original series. In this series, Felix's ex-wife is named Frances, which was her name in the original play. |

I got that from here http://www.oddcouple.info/otherversions.html
I would love to find an episode guide but I haven't found one yet. I asked the people at this site http://aa.1asphost.com/CTVA/ They have a bunch of short lived series guides there so hopefully they know. |

Odds are, the thirteen episodes aired straight from October 29th, 1982 to January 28th, 1983 (with one pre-emption on December 24th, 1982). The series was pre-empted on February 4th and 11th, then aired on February 18th and 25th (most likely repeats) and then was off the air through March and April. It aired again on May 13th, 20th and 26th (also probably repeats) followed by the final repeat on June 2nd, 1983.
Got those dates from The New York Times television listings. |

Well, I am not sure what that had to do with my explanation of the show's airdates, but okay.

I see you don't understand NOTHING do you? If you pay attention to what I posted, it was stated because The New Odd Couple was TAKEN off ABC and put on Hiatus due to losing the timeslot to DOH every Friday Night. Is all that CLEAR?????? |
