That cast sounds right, but here who I think should play whom:

JAMES EVANS: Ving Rhames (right on)

FLORIDA EVANS: Loretta Devine (right on)

J.J. EVANS: Kel Mitchell (this guy was so funny on "All That")

THELMA EVANS: Reagan Gomez Preston (I definitely see her as Thelma)

MICHAEL EVANS: Can't go wrong with Marc John Jefferies or even Jeremy Suarez or the lead of "Everybody Hates Chris", Tyler James Williams

WILLONA WOODS: Lynn Whitfield (after seeing her in "Madea's Fam Reunion", she can pull this role off)

NATHAN BOOKMAN: Ceddie! Ceddie! Ceddie!

PENNY: Dee Dee Davis

SWEET DADDY WILLIAMS: Leon

LOOTIN' LENNAY: Clifton Powell

KEITH ANDERSON: Terrence Howard

I pretty much agree with everything everyone is saying but I think Brandy might make a good thelma she may be to old, but I saw on the show one on one and the way she talked she sounded like the original themla, but as long as they don't cast Beyonce in it I'm happy
