Post Brain Teaser 2

I got this one from a friend of mine.

There are 5 books, each with 100 actual pages on a shelf. A bookworm eats from the first page of the first book to the last page of the last book. How many pages does the bookworm eat?

Now, does that mean 100 pages for reading or 100 including title and dedication and everything? And when you say actual pages does that mean there are 100 pieces of paper? So, there's not like page 1, and the back of that is page 2?

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

That is correct. There are 100 pieces of paper in each book.

499? 498? Because TO the last page doesn't mean he actually eats the last page.. and the from the first page could go either way, really.

It's either 498, 499 or 500.
Did it eat the first and last pages?

Nope. Let me clarify. It ate the first page of the first book through and including the last page of the last book.

Nope. The front and back covers are included in the 100 total pages.

Nope. That doesn't matter. Let me clarify, I want to know how many pages it actually through. 1 page = 1 page.
