Post I'm REally Upset...:( and CONFUSED....

I'm popular and one of my friends aint. OK, I really like my friend, but if people see me hanging out with her, I'll get unpopular. So what should i do? I like both of my different types of friends.

You hang out with who ever you want to! It's not fair to your friend if you stop being her friend just because you want to be popular. Popularity if all fine and dandy but in the end, it means NOTHING! FRIENDSHIP IS ALWYS IMPORTANT. Imagine your life without friends, and then tell me you'd rather be popular.

You know, I'm not popular and the fact that you even had too ask that question makes me sick! Everyone needs a freind! Even unpopular people! Dont just totally ditch her because shes not as popular as you! Thats cruel.

Take it from me, having a popular friend when your not popular is not a fun experience. When I entered junior high, I lost a lot of my friends to popularity. And not just Everyone-Knows-Who-They-Are-Popularity, but They-Have-A-Lot-Of-Friends popularity. And I'm not friends with them anymore. They went off to their parties and dates and I stayed with my.. well, my other friend who didn't go to parties.. Anyway, the point is, you should really make an effort to show your friend you are still friends or else she's going to think you don't even acknowledge her existence.

i sorta understand your problem cuz when i entered junior high i was seperated from old friends and i made friends with the so called popular people, its not that my other friends werent popular its just they werent exactly friends with my new group so that caused a little tenison but i found people will like you for who u are and not who u are friends with(well depends who u are in the school)but u see with me im friends with my old friends again and have friends in like a lotta different groups and people dont think any more or less of me...

hope that helps a little

Lorelai: Well, I want to be in the Bangles, but that doesn't mean I quit my job and get a guitar and ruin my life to be a Bangle, does it?
Max: The Bangles broke up.
Lorelai: Yeah, that's not the point.
Max: Well, that's got to be part of the point if there's no band any more.
