Thumbs up

I'm an avid watcher. I enjoy seeing Chris happy with Adrian. I really hope the marriage lasts.

same here. I have a funny little feeling though that it won't last. I hope that it does. I am a sick romantic...but the REALITY curse follows these young and in love couples who end up divorced...Nick and Jessica, Carmen and Dave...

I don't watch (so-called) reality series of any kind, and I really have no interest in what any of the cast is doing today, other than I hope they're all getting to do what they want. And I would certainly watch if they ever all got together for a genuine reunion, as opposed to the phony, scripted stuff like "Still Brady After All These Years".

I've never watched "My Fair Brady", but we've been hit with a lot of commericals for it during this weekend marathon...there's no way that marriage is going to last. You only have to see about five seconds of them together to know that.

Plus, Bradys as a rule haven't had much success in marriages. No possible way THIS one's going to succeed.

I watched part of an episode, and I can't understand why anyone would want to spend any significant time with a sour b*tch like Adrienne. I mean, does she have anything going for her other than her looks? She has no personality, no brains, no sense of humor, nothing. And Chris is calling her "the love of my life" (I guess the other two wives don't count)? This guy is in his late 40s, and still hasn't figured out that looks alone will not make a successful relationship. Sad.

I watch My Fair Brady here & there. They have that love-hate relationship, which isn't a good thing for living happily ever after. I'd be surprised if they last 6 months.

I'm actually watching this, because of the presence of the former Brady actors, as well as Chris' dad, who himself appeared in a Brady ep. Chris' dad unfortunately reminds me a bit of a drunken Garry Marshall at this point. I hope Chris & his wife can be happy together, but I also don't see them lasting much more than 1 year, based on what I've seen so far.

True on the 2nd to the last comment on this thread. But if Chris can really stop drinking for Adrian I think they could have a good relationship that is the reason for the hate part. But I think that is proubly maybe part of the show? I could be wrong though.

Watched the final 3 episodes last night. It was almost like a train wreck...I wanted to stop watching, but couldn't turn my eyes away. It doesn't appear that the marriage will last, because they really seem to dislike each other at times (not a good receipe for marriage). Also, she has got the vocabulary of a truck driver. Geez, you wonder why Chris tolerates her x-rated ratings.

And thought it was pretty sad seeing Chris and his dad get hammered before seeing Adrian and her dad...they both look like they have a major drinking problem.

Wow, I'm surprised at the lack of interest by some people. I would think a BB cast member's wedding would be exciting! I watched Christopher's and Adrianne's wedding on TV and I'm glad I did. Can't you people be happy for them and *hope* their marriage lasts??? And I would imagine that Chris *probably* knows Adrianne better than any of you do. She obviously adores him.

Hi Cynthia -

I sure HOPE Chris knows Adrianne better than any of us!!! LOL

(of course, to name one example, the fact that Brad Pitt knew Jennifer Aniston better than I did was certainly no guarantee that their marriage was going to last. It takes more to make a marriage work than knowing more about your fiance than a bunch of strangers would know)

But TV Land itself showed a promo for MF Brady that 'bleeped' out the first word of a two word 'sentence' she said to Chris ("<bleep> YOU!!!!!!"). I'm sure you know the scene I'm talking about (unless there's more than one scene like that - LOL). Of course, odds are that scene was probably done for the cameras in order to attract viewers.

I don't think any of us 'hope' the marriage won't last... in fact, I'm sure we all hope it does... I've said a number of times (on other threads) that I hope ALL the kids are happy in whatever they're doing today.

Only speaking for myself, I don't watch so-called 'reality' shows. That's the reason I've never watched MF Brady. I wouldn't watch a reality show involving either of my two favorite Bradys either (Jan and Marcia). I just think reality shows are not interesting. I've never understood the appeal.

My belief that there's no way the marriage is going to last is based on (1) the little bit that's I've seen in commericals (see comment above regarding the commerical promo) and (2) the fact that I consider this to be just another Hollywood, made for TV marriage. People in Hollywood have no respect for marriage, and I have no respect for Hollywood marriages. That's just a personal belief. I also have no interest in Hollywood marriages, or ANY aspect of their personal lives.

In fact, if she does adore him as much as you say she does, then that whole "bleep" you!! scene was done simply for the cameras and the TV audience... which to me, is evidence that this IS a made for TV relationship/marriage... People who adore each other don't speak to each other like that.

But believe me, we ALL hope that ALL of the kids are happy with whatever they're doing now. Those six kids gave up a good bit of their childhood to work on a show that has pleased millions and millions of viewers for a couple of generations (with more to come). And they did this while not getting a heck of a lot of money for it...yes, they made what they considered to be (at that time) a good deal with Sherwood to do the show... but they certainly have not reaped anything like the rewards they deserve for all the money the show makes in syndication and DVD sales. And financially, they were far from being 'set for life' at the time the show ended.

So of course we all hope Chris and Adrianne will be happy...and of course, when/if the marriage falls apart, they still might be "happy" after they split up.

It's just that, if I had to bet my life on whether their marriage is going to last, I think I know which way I'd go with that.
