..'TV Researcher'.
It was an hour-long comedy/variety showcase for Bill, on Monday nights at 10pm(et). There were comedy sketches [including Bill's recurring character, "The Dude"], production numbers featuring Bill and his guest stars, and a supporting cast that included, Lola Falana, Foster Brooks {"The Drunk"}, Susan Tolsky {"The Plain One"}, Oscar DeGruy, and writers Pat McCormick, Michael Elias, Ronny Graham, Stan(ley Ralph) Ross, and Ray Jessel, who doubled as supporting players as well. And of course, Quincy Jones and his Orchestra. It only lasted one season- and I'm sure there are videotapes of most of those shows in a vault SOMEWHERE!!!

John Amos and Sally Struthers were semi-regulars on the Tim Conway Variety Show in 1970.
