I couldn't believe an older thread about people's favorite episode ever and there wasn't a single mention (i think) about the best one ever..
And, it's easily the best one of the entire series. When Kevin decides to go to the dance with Linda (his friend and lab partner) and is all worked up about dancing with Susan Fischer (the blonde bombshell). He's all upset at the very end because Susan ends up with her old boyfriend. But then the most magical quote comes to light.. "All our young lives we search for someone to love, someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners - we dance to a song of heartbreak and hope, all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect, who might be searching for us." And right when the "Righteous Brother's" song hits its peak, Winnie, of course, comes walking into the scene and Kevin and Winnie seem to be looking for each other. I get goose bumps every time I see it. That, my fellow Wonder Years friends, just has to receive votes for the best episode of all time. |

No I don't think Winnie was even in that episode until the end if I'm remembering it right.

Forgetting the ending of the series, it would have made sense for them to find each other at the last second. But it made me want them more lol
But am I the only one who felt sorry for Linda? She seemed like a nice attractive girl that had alot in common with Kevin and he took complete advantage of her, didn't even buy her a flower, I hated how he treated her. |
