These are quite unique to me, as no one probably has ever seen some of my favorite movies, but I'm wasting time, so whatever.

13 Ghosts- The scene where the bed kills Martin Milner (yet that was bad, because I like him)

The Running Man- Killian's Speech to Ben Richards at the end.

The Long, Long Trailer- The scene where Lucy's in the Trailer trying to make dinner

Too Many Girls- The first 20 minutes of the movie.

I don't have a top 10 or anything but one of my favorite movie moments is the scene in Guys and Dolls when Sky and Sarah first meet in the mission, and she gets mad at him for asking her to go to Cuba and they sing "I'll Know" and he kisses her and she slaps him. Too funny. Also the scene in Cuba where she sings "If I Were a Bell", and the bit afterwords. Also the scene where Sky sings "Luck Be a Lady". Heck, the whole movie was my favorite movie moment!!!

1)Return of the Jedi. When Luke is being electricuted by the Emperor, with Darth Vader looking back and forth between them, trying to decide FINALLY what is right. Vader picks the emperor up, electrocuting himself in the process, sending him into the bottomless pit. REDEMPTION!
2) In the Shawshank Redemption, when Andy escapes from the prison, going through the pipe, falling into the creek. There's a big storm, and he just opens his arms to the sky. Finally free.
3) Glory. The end. If anything is as powerful, please show me.

Sorry, don't want to think of ten right now.

Hmmm... I've gotta say that the best part of Return of the Jedi is when Luke refuses to kill the emperer and refers to himself as a Jedi knoght, like his father. Only 30 seconds off from your favorite, but I gotta say that it is my fave.

1. When Dorthy leaves her black and white Kansas home for the colorful land of Oz. Could you imagine what that must have been like to see in the 30s in a movie theater? Before then, there were only a couple of Technicolor films. With the exception of Snow White, none of them had real box office draw. It must have been incredible. The original audience was seeing color for the first time, just like Dorthy. What an awesome integration of the audience into a movie!

2. The parade in Animal House. Didn't win any Oscars, but by god, was that entertaining.

3. The entire film of Citizen Kane. Cannot pick out a favorite part. It is regarded by many as the finest film ever. Check it out sometime.

4. When Bonnie and Clyde got shot up. That was the first time that American Cinema featured violence up close and personal. Changed cinema forever.

5. The Matrix, when the helicopter crashed into the building and sent a wavelength. I'm a geek, so I like special effects.

6. The Usual Suspects, where you figure out that Kevin Spacey's character was not what he seemed.

7. The car chase in Blues Brothers. All those 70's cop shows should have taken notes from this scene.

8. The ending of Gettysburg, when the various generals on either side are realizing what the battle cost them. When the confederate general says that he has no batillion left, it really nails you how devastating the battle was.

9. Rocky, when he lost. Broke the cliche that good guys always win in sports movies. Unfortunatly, the cliche was sealed in cement with the 83 sequels that followed.

10. An Affair to Remember, when Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr realize the mistakes of their ill-fated night and open up for a touching reunion. The ultimate chic flick. I cry everytime. It also helped spawn the movie Sleepless in Seattle.

Hell yeah! I was so astonished. My jaw was on the floor through the whole detective revelation scene. Greatness.

Oh, I have new moments:

During Schindler's List, you know how it's black and white through the whole film until, you see that little girl's red jacket in a pile being hauled off to be burned. I bawled like a baby.

Jurrasic Park, when John Hammond takes Dr.Grant, Ellie, and Malcom to see the dinosaurs. When they see the Brachisaurus(sp?) for the first time, looking up at them in awe. I mean, now it's no big deal to see a moving, friggin real dino, especially with The Lost World and JP3, but that first time, me myself only being eight years old, if anything was movie magic, it was that scene. You have to admit...

Speilberg has definitely brought us wonderful moments in film.

Oh, sticking with Speilberg. When E.T. came back to life, and wouldn't stop saying "Elliot", "E.T. Phone Home!" over and over, finally resulting in Elliot having to zip him up. The end too. And the whole bike sequence. I was laughing and crying at the same time.

Many great moments have already been mentioned, and I'm sorry but I have to steal some of them

The ones I am stealing, since I wholeheartedly agree:

1.) The Usual Suspects, where you figure out that Kevin Spacey's character was not what he seemed.

2.) In the Shawshank Redemption, when Andy escapes from the prison, going through the pipe, falling into the creek. There's a big storm, and he just opens his arms to the sky. Finally free.

4.) In Seven, when Brad Pitt's character has to choose between doing what he really wants to do, realizing that if he does it, Kevin Spacey has won. (If you haven't seen it that might make no sense, but I don't want to reveal the ending for those that haven't).

5.) The whole movie of Romeo and Juliet done by Baz Luhrmann in the mid-nineties. I know it has DiCaprio in it, and yes, generally you shouldn't mess with the classics, but I felt this film was very well done.

6.) The part in Pulp Fiction where John Travolta accidently blows off that guy's head and then they have to take care of it. Also, the part where Uma Thurman is ODing and they are all arguing about giving her the adrenaline shot and Eric Stoltz just draws a big target on her chest and stabs her with it. Also the part where Christopher Walken tells the story about Bruce Willis' father's watch. (So sue me, I love that movie)

7.) The part in Sneakers where they all have to talk David Strathairn through driving the van (he's blind). (ok so it's not great but it's funny....it's late and I'm having trouble thinking. It's an excellent movie though)

8.) In Gone With The Wind when Scarlett returns to find Tara in ruins but is determinded to restore it to it's former glory.

9.) The part in Braveheart where William Wallace is being tortured near the end. The fact that someone is willing to go through that just to stand up for his principles is very powerful.

10.) The part in Jumpin' Jack Flash where Whoopi tries to defend herself with that giant toothbrush. Also the part where she is in the phone booth being dragged down the street.

11.) That part in The Muppets Take Manhattan where a mugger steals Miss Piggy's purse and she goes insane and chases him through Central Park on roller skates.

12.) And I'm stealing one more.....the whole bicycle scene of ET.

Jaws-When Quint(Robert Shaw) is telling the haunting tale about trying to survive in shark infested waters after his ship the USS Indianapolis was sunk. Chilling!

Good idea about not wanting to reveal the ending. The ending, much like Usual Suspects brings the whole movie together. I was appaled to find out what happened to Paltrow. Great scene.

I'd have to agree with these two scences they are very funny
I'll add:
1)Top Gun when Goose dies that very touching
2) Indian in the Coubaord when the old Indian man comes to life and dies from shock
3) Mrs. Doubtfire when he has to find a face and he uses cake frosting for his face. That whole scence is hilarious
4) The Great Outdoors when Chet is being chased by the bear that is hilarious
5) Saving Private Ryan The beach scence that's a great scence
6) Pearl Harbor the scence when China hits that's well done
7) What about Bob the scence when Bob is eatting corn that's hilarious
8) The Truman Show When Truman is in the boat and a storm comes up but he doesn't give up. And when Truman comes to the end of the ocean and finds out it's a stage wall.
9) Message in a Bottle when Theresa goes to Garrets place after she finds out he died and the table in his house has things about them all over it and then she reads the letter he typed to say goodbye to his wife and to say he loved Theresa.
10) Gladiator when he goes home and he watches his family get killed that scence is so sad

I love the scene in Feild of Dreams where Ray and his father are out on the field playing catch. The last time I watched it I was on a bus going on a field trip and I had to do everything I could to keep from crying. It's also pretty powerful when Moonlight Graham crosses over from being young to old to save Ray's daughter from choking.

I have to agree with JoPol_wannabe that the Normandy scene in Saving Private Ryan was very well done.

Another one of my favorite scenes from a war movie is in Good Morning, Vietnam! when they play "What a Wonderful World" and everything starts out nice and calm but then they show as the day goes on and explosions are going off and people are getting shot. And not GI's getting shot, they show the whole picture....like some little Vietnamese kid is out in the rice paddies when his hut explodes...

The juxtaposistion of that song and those scenes makes for very powerdul movie-making, especially when you consider that scene is only maybe 3 minutes. It still packs a powerful punch.
