Default Young Divorcee

Young Divorcee

Theme Song: "Because Of You" by Kelly Clarkson

Starring Laura Prepon as Kelly Garner, a recently divorced 23-year-old bank teller. Kelly lives in her Milwaukee apartment with her 3 year old son, Joey, and her 20 year old sister, Holly Barnes (Mischa Barton). Kelly had gotten married at age 19, pregnant at 20, and divorced at 23. Her now ex-husband, Jeff Garner (Christopher Masterson) and Kelly have split custody of their son, Joey. As previously mentioned, Kelly works at a bank branch as a bank teller. Jeff works third shift in a plastic factory, as Holly works as a cashier at a grocery store. (Kelly's bank branch is inside of Holly's grocery store). The reason Kelly and Jeff first got married, at age 19, was because they were so-called "soulmates". But after four years of marriage, they called it quits after he was caught cheating on her, and she was convinced their marriage was a big mistake in the end.

Cast:
Laura Prepon as Kelly Barnes-Garner
Mischa Barton as Holly Barnes
Christopher Masterson as Jeff Garner

Ep4: Moving On:

Jeff and Rebecca end up regret setting up the playdate. Meanwhile, Lance and Holly go out to dinner and a movie. The food was cold, the service sucked, and the movie was dumb--but they enjoyed each other's company greatly enough to set up second date.

Ep8: Halloween Time:
A mutual friend of Jeff and Kelly's, Jeannie (Melissa Joan Hart) is hosting her annual Halloween costume party. Jeff, Rebecca, Kelly, Holly, and Lance attend the party. Holly dressed as Catwoman, Lance dressed as Batman, Jeff dressed as Hugh Hefner, and ironically (and totally on accident) Rebecca and Kelly are dressed as Playboy Bunnies. Chaos ensues when Lance accidently kisses the wrong Catwoman (not Holly). Everyone assumes Jeff, Kelly, and Rebecca planned to dress up as Hugh Hefner and two Playboy Bunnies---much to Kelly's dismay.
