That's a tough one to answer without going back to watch each one and there may have been times when he was thrown out more than once in a single episode. Check out season 4 at tv.com, which is the classic 39. TV or Not TV (the 1st episode) would be the first time. Ralph and Norton could never agree on what to watch. Of course, the TV set was in Ralph's apartment and he tried to kick Norton out so he could watch what he wanted.

Ralph was always throwing Norton out of the Kramden apartment, and on occasion, he threw out other people as well. In the course of thirty-nine episodes, Ralph threw out Norton twenty-one times. Trixie, Alice's mother, and Carlos Sanchez were thrown out twice each. Tony Amico, Jim McKeever and three other sewer workers, Mrs. Manicotti, Mrs. Stevens, and an unnamed mambo dancer were also given the old heave-ho by Ralph.

That's odd. 10 hours went by from the time he asked the question til the correct answer was posted. If this was something announced on the radio (a first caller with correct the answer contest), surely someone would have called in with the correct answer sooner.

WQLZ, they ask a series of 5 questions on the morning show. They ask one person per day and only move one when a question is answered correctly. That was the 5th question. My office called in the next morning, were somehow luckily caller #10, and we won. It was gift certificates to various businesses around town, pretty cool. I knew there would be some experts out there willing to share their knowledge!
