Why do I keep seeing all these posts, TV Land this, TV Land that? TV Land sucks. How about some posts about ALTV where they actually show programs that haven't been constantly on for the last 30, 40, 50 years? Give me a break. If one didn't know better and they came upon this board they might think TV Land was good instead of the crapfest it's become. Let's see, ALTV shows F Troop, Chico and the Man, Welcome Back Kotter, Courtship of Eddie's Father, Color Honeymooners, My Favorite Martian and other shows that haven't been on a million times. Sounds more interesting to me than the 6,000th cycle of Beaver, Andy, Bonanza, ad nauseum. Hope they pay you guys well.

We cover TV Land a lot because they make a lot of schedule changes each month and it also has stunts. We cover AmericanLife TV, but it is not a well-known channel and they don't change their schedule much (and no stunts either)...maybe once a year they change their lineup, and when they do we DO cover it.

I noticed you hang around the general sitcoms board a lot. You should venture out into one of the other boards, a lot of non TV Land talk and stuff about the actual shows and not the networks happen there.
BTW, out of curiosity do you have the Don Rickles Variety Show or the Don Rickles Sitcom from 72'? |

When I've been on holiday in America and watched TV Land, I've always thought it to be very good. It's because of TV Land that I got to see Cheers, Family Ties and Wings for the first time - not to mention Three's Company, The Andy Griffith Show and Sanford and Son.
I'd make sure I watched it every evening at my grandparents' house. I really enjoyed TV Land. |

Why would you laugh at someone's ignorance at not knowing what a network was? That is so cruel of you. |
