A Fish Called Buddy......one touching scene (Scott Baio scene stealer?) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know it is rare to find anything remotely touching in CIC, but when Scott Baio says all those nice things about Buddy(despite being dumb already), it showed his range as a serious actor. I know, it does not have the same umph like the Pembroke version, but you could see the acting from Scott's own face. It is really touching and I love that hugging moment they share.

Scott has great timing as a comedy actor, but he's really terrific in dramatic rolls. Did you see him on "Touched By An Angel"? He played a cop who accidendly shot a kid, he was wonderful, tears and all.

No. I wished I had. But that he is: A great comedy actor and dramatic actor. I really love how versatile(sp?) he is..
