Default Dearest Loren

Blah, Blah, Blah! I believe that I am correct in my assertion that you don't have any principals. The word you should have used is principles. Prinicpal is a person or thing- ex. the principal of a school; like the school that failed to impart this basic fundamental knowledge to you. Principle means rule of conduct.

Regarding the trading situation you are trying to twist to your favor. The truth of the matter that you approached me for a trade. When I showed interest in your Matlock set we had a trade. The problem is you keep changing what you wanted in exchange for it; three times if my memory serve me right. You then decided you only wanted 38 discs on my list. I had a trading friend who offered to open up his list for you to browse but later changed his mind after who he found out who I was trading with. The crux of the situation was that I offered to buy the remaining discs. That was my mistake! Once Loren smells money everything goes out the window. Loren then decided that he was moving his Matlock set to his premium list and now would be for sale at $200.00. That his Loren perogative, but it would have been nice if he would have done this at the beginning instead of waste a week of my time and over a dozen plus e-mails. The funny thing is one week later Loren had his Matlock set on his regular trading list. I later found out that this bait and switch tactic is commonplace for Loren. ( A big thank you to savageamusement and lazygrae for helping me complete my Matlock set)

Regarding you comment about me having list envy and you are a big dog- give me a break. I have over 4000 discs I keep on TY discs which I keep in slim disc cases which I store in 17 file cabinets. My trading rep speaks for itself, it seems with all the complaints that are coming out so does yours. Loren you keep saying you are retired, but I thing your grammar and spelling flaws are coming out and you mean you are ********. so next time I need to go behind the bushes it won't be to wimper but do something a little more appropriate regarding my thoughts about you. I does involve my zipper. If you still haven't got a clue- it is either 1 or 2. Loren you do have some goods sets, but drop the prima donna attitude.

The end
MarvelousMarcus signing out.

PS- For all you new traders out there that think you should send me an e-mail wanting to trade because of my trading list- don't. Most of you have DVD rips. I suggest that you spend a little money and do buy one of Loren's sets. That is all he is really good for, just beware.

Sorry, I couldn't post this on Loren thread, but for some reason it was locked down. This is the last I will write of this. I just wish I could get the 10 minutes of my life back that it took to read Loren's thread and post a response.

garsh marcus

where did i do something wrong here

you had nothing to trade

you couldnt get your buds things as you promised

i set a price, the same one i was whoreing on a sale site

and the notion that the other person didnt want to allow his best items out, is strictly his business--thats actualy quite common

the very reason i have a premium list is to draw these types of itmes from people

it seems i had traded with him a few times before, and hes contacted me just a week or so ago as well about another series

and as far as me changeing the matlock to a normal list item, well as soon as some others got the set--almost complete as it turned out

and the set got around after a period of time, its now on the normal list, since its no longer new, or very hard to find

this is also very common that people get offended whne i cant find things i want, or need on their list

at least a couple times a week i get cussed out, or certainly trashed out for not wanting this or that

and also thanks for the ****** comment, ill cherish it forever

ok i want to say a little and then ill go away

i didnt try to jack you around on the trade

i do have things on my-- famous-- premium list

and yes i am pretty picky as to what i want to add to my stash

and yes i do move things off the premium list all the time, i just moved about 175 disc off of it this week

i honestly didnt try and mess with you, and thats all i have to bother you about

you got to admit, the three people today are refering to some pretty petty things, and with the thousands of things i trade--or sell, i do take care of my business

if you never deal with me ever, thats your choice, im open at any time in the future,

you and tekken both are honest and decent traders, there are so few around

and just so you have a little tidbit to laugh about, the ioffer guy who sold me the 22 disc set of zorro, never sent it, and i get screwed on the payment, since his paypal account was closed,

gildunn has the set, but i was so pissed, i never asked for it

the sitcoms board is postureing and fluff many times, i hold no ill will toward you, if you ever want to, im avaible for a swap

RedWhine :
I can't tell what you are trying to say. The Loren's thread was locked down while I was replying to his comments. By the way, I was a member of Mensa. I decided to withdraw my membership when I felt it was nothing but a ego stroking organization. I was surprised how many of the members had menial type jobs (at least in my opinion). I was also surprised how many had government jobs with the state or federal government.

If your're wanting to mix it up, feel free to continue. I'm running a special on my cans of woop-ass today. I'll open three for the price of one!

You. Mensa. Yeah. Right. Point is...when mods start intervening & locking threads, that's your hint to bow out, take a breather & return in a better frame of mind. Doesn't matter if you're right or wrong. Take a breather. Harvey said it so well last week. By now, no one cares if you're right or wrong. Really.

Question so??

the deal between loren and marcus NEVER TOOK PLACE??? and was all just TALKING about a POSSIBLE TRADE??? and it didnt work out?????

did i miss something here???

if no deal was ever reached---- how does that qualify as something worthy of posting negative comments on???

i mean i discuss trades with people a lot, but only about 75% get finalized and done? am i missing something?

Lamont (who's not a member of Mensa, but can still read and cannot figure out why this lashing out over a deal that never was more than just talk?)

Hmm

Originally, there was a post saying "Dear Marcus"

and as it seemed, it was something that should have been emailed privately- so i moved it- and forwarded the infomration to Marcus, so that he could read it in privacy and should he wish to, to reply to loren-

Since its a work day, I dind't feel comfortbale leaving a "dear anyone" letter up for anyone to read .

It seems to me, if you address a letter to someone, it shoudl be for that SOMEONE only to read?

I don't know the circumestand of the trade spoken about, but it seems this isn't necessarily specific to trades- but more conflict of interest.

I'll leave this up unless its gets ugly or someone requests it be moved-
but I don't see the point of posting letters up on a public board?

I'll leave things be in case there is a reason that I am unaware of, but I would say tread carefully if you post in this, as its from one member to another.

Since everyone is crowing of their achievements, let me mention that in the third grade of P.S. 91, of which I am one of their most illustrious graduates, I during a "show and tell" monday morning ritual won a gold star for my presentation of sea shells I picked up at the beach on Sunday.

Does that qualify me for Mensa.? If you need more proof, I can count from 1-150 using the fingers on just one hand, and that's the left hand, and remember I'm a righty.

Harvey who needs appreciation

I have a cousin twice removed from North Carolina but I'm not sure if North Carolina qualifies as a state.

Some people go blind, some get hairy palms, and some grow fingers.

That's right RedWhine, I've still got the paperwork to prove it. If you would like to make a little wager and put your money where mouth (or fingers) is, we could make this interesting. Oh and if know one care then why did you have to put your two cents it.

Lamont, as savageamusement mentioned above Loren started it and
I finished it!

Now unless RedWhino wants to start something, I'm finished. The mods can lock this down or remove it for all I care.
