Thumbs up Goonies 2 !!!!!

Okay, I'm sure no one cares about this except a select few, but hey, I'm a huge Goonie fan, and I'm gonna post this anyway.

Go over to www.aint-it-cool-news.com ( I'd give you the exact link but I'm too lazy right now. So sue me...)

Right there in bold letters is "TAKE A LOOK AT THE CAST OF GOONIES 2!"

The gang looks great...and Chunk isn't chunky anymore! When I first looked at the picture, I was like, "Wait, who's that?"
Every Goonie is in the picture, even Mr.Walsh with grey hair. ( Well, he probabaly was a littel grey in the movie as well...).

Richard Donner ( the director) has sadi the script is all ready, and "everyone's comin' back!"

This could be a bad idea, but then again, it's great!

*Hmmm, wonder if Cyndi Lauper's going to come back too? *

Cool - thanks for telling us about that! I can't wait till the new DVD edition of The Goonies makes it's way over to Scotland! Has it been released in the States yet? You'll need to tell me if the extra features are any good or not.
Right, I'm off to read that article now!

God, I just realized how bad I am at typing when I'm excited. "Littel"...

Anyway, Mossopp, I'll be sure to tell you all about the DVD when it comes out. I believe the release date is August 24th. Can't wait!

Aw...I'm just looked at the picture again...and this movie might actually work. Alls to hoping...

Even Feldman is coming back? I didn't realize he could tear himself away from his crack pipe long enough to make a movie.

Anyhow, I'm pumped! I remember seeing the original Goonies in the theater and LOVING it!

Corey Feldman has been off the drugs for years now! I haven't seen him acting since he was a kid so I'm really looking forward to seeing him in 'Goonies 2' cos he was an amazing child actor!
The only thing that bothers me is what ON EARTH are they gonna make this movie about??? See, what the made the Goonies such a special movie for me was that it was about the idealism of childhood and fighting against the things that treatened it. There's no way that the sequal can deal with the same themes when all the Goonies are in their 30's!!!
I really hope this movie doesn't suck cos if it does it might kinda ruin the original for me.
