Default How Do YOu Store Your DVD Collections?

Man, over the past few years, i've built up a huge DVD collection, and recently I ran out of space, and I just found a box of DVD's in my basement I forgot all about.......So Instead of deal with the annoying amount of cases, I just put most them in CD/DVD binders , the ones i really dont watch that much.....

i just filled up a 208 booklet with dvd's...i need to stop buying dvd's....

I have one tower and one shelf...I have a DVD tower, and the other one can be used for CDs/VHS/DVDs. I filled up the DVD tower and I've filled up 1/2 of the media shelf already. I'm going to get a nicer shelf soon, hopefully.

I have two Bookcases that hold all my dvd's and packages...

I used to put them in cd/dvd type binders but I ran out of space, I had 1 208 case and 2 128 cases and I filled all three (464 dvds) and I had more stuff so I just gor rid of them and decide to put them in there original cases...I only had them in the binders because I liked to bring them over friends houses, however keeping them in alphabetical order...

Yeah, I'm too much of a traditionalist to ditch my movie DVDs and store 'em in binders. But, if push comes to shove, I might do that. I would prefer to keep the sleeves though. I know they have binders where you can put the sleeve on one side and the disc(s) on the other side of the page...but these types don't hold a whole lot of discs.

I have all my TV shows on 2 shelves, Friends takes up one entire shelf. However I'm out of space since I got Charmed season 7 so I'm going to need to find more room

Lol, I only kept my tv shows in binders, I don't have enough actual movies to have a binder lol, some of my tv dvds got scratched in the cases though, usually only double sided discs ... which at the time was oonly TBNS and Gilligan's Island...

I have a DVD cabinet that I originally bought to store my homemade DVDs. However, there got to be wayyyyyy too many of those, so I moved those to the bookshelf I had the TV DVDs on, and put the TV DVDs in the cabinet. I still have room for a few. Not my entire wish list....but some.

Binders are horrible for storage as the DVDs are being scratched every time you take them out or put them in. Jewel cases are the only proper storage.

I keep mine in paper sleeves in storage boxes from Staples -- much like shoe boxes, with a movable rear support brace. 25 boxes so far. Retail discs are still in their own cases, so far.
