Jeffersons was slated at 11am and 10:30pm well before the latest changes. So, those slots are not going to happen now most likely, especially 11am. Mini-marathons are doing well enough to stay in Sept.

"Benson" is missing from your schedule - do you think it will go on hiatus?

And I'm sure "The Jeffersons" will be included somewhere in the mini-marathons (like you had)

I wouldn't be surprised to see "What's Happening" return even in a limited slot, and I think "Good Times" will move to 10pm if "Jeffersons" does go to 10:30

Nope!! I like Cheer & Night Court weeknight primetime. It doesnt matter to me what evening time slot will be. We will see what happen every other two week in the fall. I rather watch I network or TBS network as my evening primetime but not tvland.

I really don't know - I'm thinking, of all the shows with marathons, they would probably give the lowest rated one to The Jeffersons. And more than likely, Benson would be the best choice. I don't really see any place they could put it, but I might be wrong.

Don't bet on What's Happening coming back on;it seems to me that black shows that comes on this network get's the short end of the stick(unless it's the beloved Crosby Show)Only Good Times seems to have suceeded.I'm willing to bet that if they did Cheers like that or All In The Family, everyone would have a hissy-fit!I'm also willing to bet that The Jefferson won't have much of a run.If my statements not true, then why was Benson only going to be shown on the marathons, and not weekdays?!Explain What's Happening going off the air and it barely was on?!?Everyone will claim that it was due to ratings, but how can that be factor when these shows were on less than 6 months? If that long!

What's Happening was barely on? It had a very good run, given the quality of the show and the limited number of episodes. Cheers dominated N@N and TV Land long enough, it was time that it moved to weekends only.

I think Sanford and Son does better than Good Times given the amount of exposure and airplays. Thank goodness they've finally cut GT down to 1x per day and given other shows (Green Acres and Munsters) some well-deserved exposure.

They showed each What's Happening!! episode like 4 or 5 times. I wish they add What's Happening Now!! to the rotation. I'm sure the show will be back soon.

The Jeffersons will be big for TV Land. Good Times is not the only African American show that does well...Sanford & Son does very well, too. What's Happening!! was doing well as well. The 11am-2pm show removals were NOT because of ratings. They had planned to encore the mini marathons even before 227 started. 227 did decent, but it was quite unfortunate it was in that time block. Hopefully when The Jeffersons come, they can pair the two up together in early evening. Something like: 5-7pm: Sanford & Son, AITF, Jeffersons, 227. And then Beaver and Andy at 7-8.

Another complaint by you. I remember before you were complaining about WH!! even airing, and now you're complaining it is gone. Cheers is on once a week now, too. I don't see anyone complaining.

Pav, are the ratings for LITB good enough that perhaps it could make a return to 9:30? Thanks.

I think it's due time Sanford and Son was, well, how would you say it...put out to pasture? That show has recieved so much airplay it's getting really old. I think Jeffersons/227 at 5-6pm would be good and keep Acres/Munsters at 6-7, because those shows have had a long break from decent slots unlike S&S/AITF. Just my opinion though.

They really need to stop tripping and bring back Mary Tyler Moore.

I'm not sure, but I know Sanford & Son has done very well there, so I wouldn't count on Beaver moving there.

Munsters/Green Acres do better 5-6am and 8-9am than 6-7pm.

I think by September, 9p-12a will look like this: 9p TAGS, 9:30 S&S, 10p Good Times, 10:30 Jeffersons, 11p-12a TC. And maybe 5-7p will change a bit, too, something similar to what I said before.

Don't forget to add that S&S is also complete on DVD which is another reason for the show to go
