Can anyone tell me the name of the actress that plays Amy's mother and what previous tv roles she has played? My sister and I remember her as playing "Georgeann" in something, but we can't remember the name of the series and it's driving us nuts!

Her name is Georgia Engel. She played Georgette Franklin Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
