i thouroughly enjoyed the movie last night.

but what i didn't realize was that the 2nd & 3rd movie are almost one giant one so the 2nd one just abruptly ends... leaving the conclusion for the 3rd (that i did not like).

i didn't like the characters of will & elizabeth this time. i felt that elizabeth was not as strong as last time & that will was too cocky & almost stupid. jack sparrow was magnificent though as were all of the other characters (including the returning pirates). the special effects & costumes were outstanding.

overall i would reccomend it, it was entertaining (& a good way to pass 2 and a half hours). and i am very excited for the 3rd installment.

It does sounds great. I seeing it tonight, but I'm preparing myself for the ending, because the papper said that fans will have to wait until the 3rd movie to find the rest of the story.

I saw it at midnight (and I dressed like a Pirate). I liked it, but I didn't think it flowed as well as the first one did. The greatness of this movie is the characters and for the first half they had seperate storylines going on, so it wasn't as interesting, when they met up, it was very well done.

The movie felt like the same as the first one but that's okay because someone once said, "Sequels should be exactly like the first one, but different."

The ending was pretty satisfying.

I too saw the movie late at night(we got out just before 1AM). The movie was good, but alot darker. It had good points & some minor bad points. But overall it was a Great movie, and I would see it again.

I'm so excited to see it! I hope it's not a disapointment after how great the first one was.

Sad Goodbye Walt Disney Pictures Original Logo, Hello to the New Logo

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will see it with my brother in two weeks.

By the way, if you want to see what the introduction looks like at the very beginning of the movie, I have my avatar of the newly revamped Walt Disney Pictures logo. It made its debut in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest". But I would like to tell you that I missed the original logo that we all loved so much. That original logo with the blue background lasted 21 years from 1985 until now. If you want to see the original Walt Disney Pictures logo one last time, I found this one on Retrojunk. This old logo makes me want to think it's the end of an era.

RIP: Walt Disney Pictures Original Logo (1985-2006)

Walt Disney Pictures Old Logo

I saw DMC. It was good, abit darker than the first. I liked the first one better. But I can't wait to see POTC 3. I plan on seeing it again, there was too many people and distractions in the theater. I had a hard time understanding the dialog especially Tia Dalma's.
