does anyone know what epp im talking about it showed yesturday. it was about this crime story writer and his mom was raped and murdered? its really sad is there any updates for this story?

You're thinking of the James Ellroy segment. He's been discussed a few times on the board if you want to do a search. There has been no resolution to his mother's case as far as I can tell. His book "My Dark Places" was actually completed after he was featured on UM. He describes the experience of being on UM and it's actually very funny. The book is extremely candid and disturbing, but a good read.

You can also search through search engines (Google, yahoo, ask.com, etc.). All you have to do is type in "James Ellroy", and you should find a lot of links about him and his mother's murder.
