Smallville: What's the Story of Clark & Lex? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Smallville is one of the best shows I have seen on televison in a long time. I am totally addicted to this show. I am trying to ieve everything together. I have always heard people talking about this show and I am glad I am tuning into it now.

My question is what is the story of Clark and Lex? From the episodes I ahve seen it looks like they have a great friendship and are close. So when i caught another episode it looks like Lex is now evil and hates Clark..and tries to kill him? How? Why? I am looking for answers! I would like the run down please!!! I think they have a good friendship,even though Clark is lying to him since day 1. Can't wait to hear everyone's responses!!!

Lex Luthor eventually is Superman's enemy. But in Smallville, they wanted to show Lex and Clark as friends in their younger years. Therefore, Lex has to slowly go into his bad guy profile as the seasons go along. Therefore, he and Clark gradually grow apart.

Through Lex Luthors constant deception to clark and what clark has learned about lex through the years he just got to the pont where he couldn't trust lex anymore, this was something jonathon kent warned him about many times anyway, well lex got tired of trying to get clark to forgive him and so he just decided to hate clark, and they have something else that makes them bitter enemys now.
