Ain't the first time family name refrences and character name by actor/actress refrences has been done. And not certainly the last. Ever watch Tango and Cash? Rambo is a big *****! Get it? Sylvester Stallone was a lead character on both Rambo and Tango and Cash. And also watch Convoy(1978 movie). There's a character on that movie named Pig-Pen with a word written on the side of his truck refrencing the actor's character from the 'Rocky' movie series. One time on The Division I saw Jinny and Magda handling a case outdoors in the streets and I could have sworn I seen "Jo Rules" written in grafitti form. Possibly a refrence to Nancy McKeon's FOL character on The Division? Refrences always happen on TV/Movies.
Who knows how many tv shows and movies out there feature frerences to the actors/actresses other roles and even relatives with the actors/actresses actual last names. |

I HAVE A LOT OF THE DIVISION TAPED, AND I'D LOVE TO CHECK IT OUT! THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS TO SEE, AND I WOULD ASSUME IT WOULD BE IN REFERENCE TO HER CHARACTER ON FACTS. WHO ELSE SPELLS THEIR NAME JO? MAYBE SOMEONE FROM BEHIND THE SCENES WAS A FACTS OF LIFE FAN, AND DID IT AS A JOKE FOR NANCY. PRETTY FUNNY, I'D SAY! WHO KNOWS, THOUGH. ALL JUST SPECULATION.

I'd be interested to know what episode of the Division that was in too. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the production crew snuck things like that in as a joke. Didn't you also mention on The Division board that you also thought you saw "Life Goes On" in the background too, which was Tracy Needham's earlier show? I know Lisa Vidal has said she used to tease Nancy that she was playing opposite "Jo" all the time.
As for the mags on set in FOL episodes, I think it would have been funnier if Blair was reading a teen mag that had one of their images on the cover. She could be reading about herself? |
