Serious stuff...

I've recently gone back and watched all of the episodes of Silver Spoons (fixing the A/V sync issues with the copies I've got) and I've been amazed at the seriousness of many of the episode topics dealt with in this show.

From my childhood, I remember a show with a kid that all the girls liked and a funny dad living in a huge house with a train and arcade games. As an adult, I think its very cool looking back and realizing that in it's first two seasons, Silver Spoons dealt with topic ranging from divorce and gambling to child abuse and pornography.

Not bad for a cheesy 80's sitcom.
