Just want to say I was out of line last night and should have express my frustrations to her in a PM, not on the Board. I guess the issue she brought up was a sensitive one and I just lost my cool. So sorry for getting heated last night.

I received a lengthy apology from Solomon and want to let the members know that my response to him was just as lengthy. I advised Solomon that name calling to any member here is not acceptable. I told Solomon that I was disgusted with his "bashing" of women whether it was in general or in particular. I talked to him abt a lot of issues that many have expressed regarding his behavior, attitude, talk, cussing and so forth. We both have come to the understanding the bashing of each other must stop. No dirty laundry should ever be "aired" on the boards. PM's are there for a reason and not as a weapon. The report button is also there. I don't take his "lost his cool" as an excuse whatsoever. We all have the ability to think twice before we "type" something stupid. Solomon calling Ms.Orange "buttcrack" was a sign that something worse was going to follow...i knew because I began to feel angry abt that comment. I should have stepped in and done something abt it. As a woman, we shouldn't take abuse from any person, ever...no negative comments should be directed at anyone.
I feel that Solomon and I have taken care of our personal matter, although it became a public one. He has apologized both in private and in public. As Savageamusement pointed out, if you degrade one in public, an apology should be done in public. I agree with that. As I too have had to do that for my errors. For the record, Solomon was going to apologize publicly before that was even mentioned on the board. Solomon, I accept your apology. |

It's nice of you to apologise, Solomon.
And by the way, I really like your name. Who chose it? It's a nice one.

It sounds quite sophisticated to me. And wasn't King Solomon the one who asked God for wisdom? |
