Nobody knows yet. Usually it is official when we hear something from TVshowsondvd.com

I'd like to see season 3 out by the end of the year (I don't think we will be seeing season 4 packaged together. 1 & 2 were only packaged together because season 1 was far different from season 2 plus they didn't want to risk sales with just season 1) perferably before the holidays, but I just don't know. Think about it. If it took Sony this long to release just the first two seasons, how long will it take to release another? Sony is one of the slowest companies when it comes to releasing another season. We'll have to see though, it took Sony almost 5 months to release Diff'rent Strokes. I'm not sure how that did in sales (good I'm GUESSING, it obviously got another season released because many of Sony's shows haven't, Mad About You for example). So if they are on the same page, maybe we could see one by October? (Stop right there, I never said it will) However, I'm GUESSING Facts of Life sales skyrocketed in comparison to Diff'rent Strokes (I don't know for sure). What I've also seen from Sony was that it was taken off from Comcast so that could be a good sign, it shows that they are serious about continuing to release it on DVD as opposed to it continuting to test the waters on it. I know we'll be having a second release, but its a matter of time for Sony.

I heard that if they do release 3 and 4, it won't be until sometime early or late next year. We would have to wait and see.

I believe I heard the first week for FOL they had really good sales. Not sure about overall sales though. I'm assuming they were better than Diff'rent Strokes, though. I'm pretty sure the sales were good enough for another release, but that of course, is in my own opinion and not a fact. If I were to guess I'd figure November, if not, probably 1st quarter 2007. It takes Sony forever for most of their releases, so ...

I think it;s way too early to start asking about seasons 3 and 4 because seasons 1 and 2 was just released not that long ago. And I don't think seasons 3 and 4 will be released together. The only reason season 1 and 2 was released together was because season 1 was a short season. So a better question would be when is season 3 coming out?

Yes, Season 3 is RUMORED to be released at the earliest by the end of the year (possibly November or December, but it could be earlier next year), according to reports at Beyond the Facts of Life (http://factsoflifeshow.tripod.com.)

Default One at a Time

My guess is that seasons 3 and 4 will be separate DVD releases. FOL had its first two seasons released as a single package because season 1 was short.

I have a really good feeling about Sony releasing Season 3 by the end of the year. I think it could be a big seller during the holidays. Those people who all bought Seasons 1 & 2 could either buy the 3rd Season for themselves or as Christmas gifts.
