Talking Backstreet Boy in Rehab!

Strait from www.q4music.com , under headlines. AJ apparently has a alcohol problem, and has entered a Florida rehab clinic for 30 days. I know I shouldn't be happy about this, but...

Well, it looks like the beginning of the long overdue end of "teen pop" as we know it. (*mumbles "Thank God!" under her breath*)

I take it you dont like BSB. Well you dont have to be HAPPY that this happened to him. He has been depressed and...Well its just not good to be happy that someone has a alcohol problem. I have sympathy for him and his family and friends. At least AJ had the guts and will to go and tell the rest of the band he needed help! If you want more info you can go to www.msnbc.com .

I just have to ask HOW COULD ANYONE BE HAPPY that something like this happened to someone???

Sorry, thats just MHO

I did not say that I was happy about AJ'S ALCOHOL PROBLEM, but I am happy that this is most likely the beginning of the downfall of teen pop. It always happens like this, when a band is on the top of the world, they start to break down. Slowly, but surely. Hell, almost every great band break up. The Beatles. The Police.
C'mon, I'm getting sick of TRL and all it spawns. That includes N*SYNC, Britney, Jessica, Christina, AND the Backstreet Boys.

Besides, don't get so touchy about it. If they are so full of talent, then they will rise above it, and you can prove me wrong.

Ok, sorry. I just took what you said the wrong way. And thats fine if you dont like teen pop. Im not CRAZY over it! But i do like BSB. And we are both entitled to our own opinion, which we have both already stated. And im pretty sure they will rise above all of this. I know that 3 of them go and were raised in a Catholic church. So they have God on there side. Which in fact is not bad. Best thing if you have him on your side!

And i hope that your not mad at me. I mean i sure wasnt trying to start some kind of argument.

Hmmm... there are many artists that have gone through rehab and have achieved greater artistic sucess sober, such as Aerosmith and Clapton. Something tells me that BSB will not join the company of that list.

And yes, I am actually happy about his addiction. Why? Because he is high profile with many girls who are at an impressionable age where peer pressure can lead to drinking. He will be a great anti-peer pressure poster child.

Stupid MTV boy bands....

See, that's what I meant. Coily just put it in much harsher words. I think they fit quite nicely...

I despise AJ but I do feel sorry for him, His grandma dies just a few weeks ago causing him too become depressed... At least he has a good excuse too abuse alcohol... Even though no excuse id really good, but anyway... If the pop world does come crashing down... PARTY AT MY PLACE BABY!

------------------
On April 24, 2008 Kaley and I are going too meet in LA, and hancuff ourselfs too Nancy McKeons car, or better yet her! And your not! Were also gonna find Jay Harrington too.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh, yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, uh yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight! and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy:Stop! What are you...
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter! *long pause* Yeah... Thats what I thought.

The Dana parts Real... The rest i stuck in there for fun.

Well first off, alcoholism is a disease. There really isn't an excuse needed. Secondly, alcoholism does not develop overnight. His rehab is probably a result of many years of partying very hard. Don't romanticize his downfall. Yes, it's unfortunate, but don't think for a second that he never had a problem with the bottle before grandma got sick.

W/e coily2... I got my info out of the news paper... I trust it more than you. If I sound rude I don't mean too, I just have my sources and what they said, and yeah I did kind of wonder how they can consider him an alcoholic after 3 weeks, maybe that was just a way too cover up the fact he's been one for a while. I don't know...

Most likely. The publicists are trying to make it sound like it isn't AJ's fault...typical really.
